Pressure test after rebuild, have leak at kips shaft seal..
Need a little advice, just got my cylinder back after replate, took my time, installed all new gaskets and seals. Decided to pressure test after everything was torqued down, now I have a significant leak at the right side kips shaft seal. And yes this is a new seal that was installed. Where did I go wrong? Any ideas? A pressure test was done before tear down, and it held 6 psi for the full 5 minutes. I'm positive the seal is not in backwards, and is this something I should be concerned with? Or should I carry on?
