FMF Turbine Core II

Post by RatBoyD.77 »

Hey guys been riding my kdx for a little less than a year and I love it. Been doing some looking around lately at some silencers and was wondering if it is worth it to buy an FMF Turbine Core II

Welcome to the forum.

Are you looking for more power, more noise?

What is on there now, including the exhaust pipe?
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net. :bravo:

Looking for some more power out of the bike and make it sound a little better too. The whole exhaust system is stock so thats why I'm doing a little research on some pipes

people say the stock muffler / silencer is good. no difference in power. a little heavy though. get some model of FMF Gnarly expansion chamber pipe, depending on model of kdx you have, for more power.

So getting a pipe will not add any power just decrease weight?

get FMF front chamber/pipe for improved power and delivery. keep stock rear muffler. research pipes and mufflers on here. plenty of info available.

The only difference from replacing the stock spark arrestor would be a bit less weight, and a bit more noise. There is, however, real benefit to be had from replacing the stock expansion chamber.
