another needle question....

Post by argclh6670 »

Hey guys, was hoping to get some feedback on what needles perform better for the H series 200 as opposed to stock. And where you feel its an improvement.

CEL and DEL are the recommended needles for H series. Lots of info on them in the jets and needles section. They are richer on the low end, so re-jetting is needed after install. Overall the profile seems better suited to the KDX. CEL has a more abrupt hit, DEL is very smooth over the throttle range.

^very well stated.

I currently use a DEL, but my favorite were the JD needles.

I haven't had the opportunity to try the JD needles, but it's definitely on my bucket list to do so.

Years ago I got a used kit on eBay for about 1/2 price. That was the only way I could pull it off.

I really wish he would sell the needles only and at a lower cost than the "kit".
