Waiting on a shifter to ride but sounds awesome with the RB mods and desert pipe. My Orange buddies are going to do a double take at Loretta Lynn's this fall.

Thanks! This was my first top end rebuild on a 2 stroke and I was a bit nervous about it but thanks to the awesome support on this board and RB's fine work, it fired up on the 2nd kick! Can't wait to ride soon. I know, I need to paint that bike stand

What type of stand is that? Does it work well?

I was looking at those last night...decent price if you can actually lift a bike with it.

Cool, hope to see you guys at Loretta's. I go there spring and fall for the trail rides. Have you been to the 7 springs fall ride near Muscle Shoals? It is an awesome ride. Thanks, I did not chrome the frame it is just factory silver paint. Sorry, did not do a build thread, was too nervous to think about that but Mabe next time! I did take a few pics along the way and will post.

The previous owner had installed KX250F front forks and a KLX 300 swingarm. The bike had a beat up Gnarly Woods pipe and shorty silencer, I replaced the stock piston with a Wiseco Forged model and had RB do the head and carb mods. RB recommended the FMF Gnarly Desert pipe, Power Core sliencer and the Boysen 607 reeds. I replaced all the hoses while I was in there and put on new shrouds and shroud graphics. I added a double take mirror and working on a license plate mount as I have the bike plated in TN. Getting ready for the LBL 200 Dual Sport ride in a few weeks.

I am not sure about the advantages of the 300 swingarm, the guy I bought it from said it was a bit longer, not sure that is better, maybe some others have some info. Yes, still have the old pipe and shorty silencer, do you need one?

I wonder if that makes it harder to pop wheelies ?

and if the price is right I would be interested in them
what would you like for them, shipped to Holland MI 49424 ?

They are kind of rusty and I used the pipe as a mold to try to make a pipe guard. It has some drywall mud and duct tape on it. ImageImage

Would those fit a 200?

Great looking bike and good job on the rebuild.
