1993 radiator! HELP!

Post by Sach »

Hi guys,

so last component to my rebuild is the radiators. my current ones are completely destroyed and am going to replace them.

To begin the radiators themselves…any suggestions so far i have found a single pair of what seem to be crappy Chinese ones for $240!
any alternatives would be greatly appreciated

Second the larger issue. the hoses i have only been able to find OEM parts which are $$$$ and I am trying to save pennies (I'm only 15)

any alternatives there are countless options for the H series how ever non for E series?? could i possible convert this brackets?

kind regards

sach

If you cant find any 89-94 E series rads you can also look for 89 kx250(direct bolt on) or 91-94 KDX250. Possible to use the KX500 left side, but I think the right would be too long. In the absence of E-model ones your best bet is to use the H series radiator on an E but you have to make a bracket for the upper mount on one of the sides, right I think but can't remember right off hand. Ebay is your best bet for rads and hoses, just have to look real hard. A quick ebay look and I found both radiators and all hoses for less than $60

They are, but for the left side only. The right side KDX250 rads will not bolt on.
