Motion Pro Clutch cable wrong?

Went to replace the clutch cable tonight and the new Motion Pro cable was too short. Motion Pro calls out this cable (pn 03-0192) for my '96 but it seems short by a good few inches.. story of my life  ..I'm afraid to order another from them and it still be wrong. Anyone had good luck with this cable or am I better off just ordering an OEM cable just to be safe. I'm not sure if the wrong cable ended up marked with this part number or if this cable is just not the right one at all..

I put a MotionPro on my 97' as I got too impatient waiting for the OEM one to come in the mail, unfortunately I have no idea what the part number was now. It did seem rather short, I even took it off and changed how it was routed to see if I could get a bit of extra length. I rent through over the head and up behind the left radiator.

MotoSport has the OEM cable in stock for $20 so I guess I'm just going to order it and send the Motion Pro back. I just hope the Motion Pro throttle cable is right.

OEM clutch cable is the same length as the Motion Pro cable so it must be in the routing. Anyone have any good pics handy to show the factory routing?

I too would be interested to see the factory routing. I'd take pics of how I did mine but I left my bike at my parents place. That said, as mentioned above, I went straight over past the cylinder and in through the cable holder behind the left radiator and it works fine.
