Where buy carburator?

Hi. I got a '01 220. I can't get it running right. There's always a flat spot in the mid RPM range, no matter what I do to the jetting. It's not really that bad, but it really annoys me sometimes.

So I'm thinking about getting a new carb. I was told the 200 carbs will run better.

Where do I find good price on new carb?

Rocky has 'em for $280.

What jet sizes should I start with?

The best price I have found for a new carb with out bidding is from jets r us. They have the 35mm PWK for about $165 and the air striker for about $185.

I am going to be ordering the air striker probably in the next month or so.

Is this carb exact same dimension as the OEM carb? Or would I have to modify the air box to fit it?

What is air striker mean?

nothing to mod.
airstriker is a carb that don't need to be adjusted as much as a normal carb or even a RBD carb. (still need to be jetted properly though) not as much fiddling with the airscrew while riding

I have a RBD carb and if I needed a new carb I'd get the airstriker, supposed to be as good if not better than the RBD one.

Thing is, RB mods airstriker carbs as well! Brand new for $345 with all his killer mods. :supz:

I have the modded Airstriker from RB and it's bullet proof.
Once it's jetted it pretty much done, no screwing around.
Fits perfectly with YOUR old cap. The cable on the air striker
goes striaght up so you have to use the cap from your KDX for
the 90 degree bend.

I know this should be in the For sale section , but I have a 35mm carb off a 06 KDX-200 that I'd give you a deal on.
You may have to use your 33mm slide and needle.
