89-94 and 95-06 or is the part pretty much the same throuout the evolution of the bike. i looked a a couple fiches and from what i gather a 94s assembly (which i have access to) is the same as the 95s. beings im new to the kdx's i figured id run it by the knowledge base here first.95 kiskstart mechanism

hey people, does anybody know off the top of their head what interchangeability options their is on kickstart mechanisms? the threads are hashed on mine (PO) 89-94 and 95-06 or is the part pretty much the same throuout the evolution of the bike. i looked a a couple fiches and from what i gather a 94s assembly (which i have access to) is the same as the 95s. beings im new to the kdx's i figured id run it by the knowledge base here first.

95 kiskstart mechanism
If the part number is the same then the part is the same. But if you have access to the 94 then give it a try. The 89+ bottom end is very simular with a few exceptions. Someone on here used an E series transmission with an H series cylinder so the chances are pretty good that it would work.
