WACHITA, Southern,Mo. new place to ride

A great new place to ride in southern Mo. . Just south of St. Joe State Park and Farmington. They Have a MX track for those who are into that. I prefer the 1,300 acres of woods and mountain trails. They do allow ATV's there and some of the trails are a bit wide(old loggin roads. But The place is way cool due the the Technical, mountain side, exposed, red granite bolder terrain. You can ride to the top of Bald Knob Mountain and see for Miles and Miles!!! I am currently using my GPS to map the trails for the owner of the property. He is going to trade me out some steak dinners at his restaurant and of course some free entry to thre trails. I am going to see if he will allow me to do a KDX mountain top camp out with a night ride attached for those who are interested. Going to meet with him next wednesday to show him my progress on the trail mapping. Chadwick and st joe are ok but the soil there is full of loose sharp rock. Wachita is dirt and red granite bolders that stay put in the ground. Great traction and not so hard on the tires.
