If you can get there, cool. If not, you aren't missing a whole lot except excellent company, good beer, and a bit 'o riding on the flatlands.
Memorial Day is meant for memories ... yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

the reason i would really like to ride this weekend is this ...
on may 9, 2009, my father-in-law ... i.e. inda's dad, was pronounced dead in his home. he was supposed to ride with us for the first time this memorial day weekend. he is missed sooooo much by so many people.
we have a void that can't be filled; therefore, i think the ride at southfork dirtriders would be a good way to tell him one more time how much we loved him and how great he was in the living world.
he was more of a father-figure to me than my own father is or will ever be.
i love you, dad (William Larry Hengstberger ... Bill). Here's to you (toasting a coors lite)
