State of Jefferson Spring '09

Post by canyncarvr »

Greetings:

Looks to be a ride shaping up for the weekend of April 18/19. In addition (subtraction?) to the local fauna, ski said he'll be here..and dragging some 300 punkin rider with him. DougB said he'll be here.

That'll make 4-1 green-to-orange.

MXOldtimer? Firffighter? Any other NWet riders interested?

Or...from sunny Kalifornistan?

M0rie?

I'm sure this is all weather dependent at this point. I don't mind riding in the wet...but not bizzards or monsoons. Accuweather says it's going to be perfect...and you know you can ALWAYS count on the weatherman!

...to be wrong...but that's another story.

C'mon down, over, or up!

Probably only two days..one at Quartz Ck., one Johns Peak. If ski or anyone wants to hang around Monday, we could ride a 3rd place. 4th and 5th choices closed due to snow.

Don't worry about it..just get here...we'll send you home tired!

Punkin buddy wimped out, but no big loss. I'm the only whiner allowed!! Ha! If only everyone knew what an invite from Carvr is worth, they would JUMP on the offer to host us!

So, time to meet the legends; Ski, Carvr and Wib! (I hope he's there!)Anyone hanging around until Monday morning will have breakfast on me!!

m0rie, you better plan on a trip or I'm going to hyjack you on the way up some day! Hope you are feeling better BTW...

What ever happened to Farmer John. I LIKE PIE!!

Lysterine, funny little black smokes, and a free breakfast you are able to stay alive until Monday morning!

Wibby's whining about some meet-up someplace else with the FYYFF crowd. Maybe you can cajole him into hanging around.

What? Punkin guy quit on us? Criminy...we're gonna be all green!!!

Legends? Ha! Yeah...in their own minds.........

Tell you what, though. You guys that think you know what riding is...you pass up a couple days in the SoJ...you done missed completely OUT!

C'Mon all whiners!! Give ski something to work for!!

(he takes that title cereally!)

Have you checked SouthWest air fares lately? If wib ain't around, you can ride his bike! Fly in to Sacramento, I'll pick you up, and we can get acquainted on the drive up and you get to see some beautiful scenery.

Well, it's all your loss, but I suppose if you don't know what you're missing, then, well, it's like a virgin; the morning after the first time there's a stupid grin and yer walkin' funny. Yea, riding SofJ is kinda like that. So come out and pop your cherry! Ha!

Unless you're just a poser. You know, that bike of yours I've never seen dirty.... Virgin Vince! Ha!

But seriously, you do want to take your bike. That way we KNOW it's the rider and not the ride! HaW!! Do you like sushi? We'll split a wibby roll when you get here.

I before the R, Rick.

I have been trying to get my ol' man to cave in and go to the H&Ms, but no go. I think he is addicted to MMA and wanting to do his first fight next year. Going anywhere to ride would be a sin ... you know, he'd be missing out on his training.

It's all good. I can't wait to see him kick some ass at 40 years of age!!!

But wait! Now. Why COULDN'T Inda and I go? Oh, nevermind. Let's not get started on that one.

That was a typo, Webby roll. Too late to reprint the menu. It wouldn't have happened if they'd asked his name two beers earlier. Ha!! Slur the name, cut 'em off!!
The I before R is for Kirsten. That's a boy name. Not Kristen. That be a girl name. See the difference? Now keep up with the conversation there Carvr. Set the bottle down. Ha!! Meat is fresh and pink! That is good! Especially fish! Gotta love raw fish!

So, Inda's coming then? Gonna drive so he's got his bike and no excuse then? Gonna pickup some others along the way too? Life is just too short to remenise about the the time I was invited to ride when it could be spend reminising about the time I took up the offer and did ride!!

And, on that note, I won't be there if I'm sick, wife is sick, it's cold, it's wet, or I become frightened for any reason. It's great to be a man!!
