Post by canyncarvr »

Edit for date change.

Ski and I have been talking about May 21/22. He's looking to be up Friday (5/20)..ride Saturday and Sunday (althought LAST time he and Doug were up, they wussed out on the Sunday ride...a couple'a soft little bunnies, I guess hop---hop---hop  )

M0rie? (N. Cal) bradf? (Snohomish) farmerj? (N. Or.) Wibby? (right here) IdahoCharlie? (well...Idaho) clutchcover..Pocatello is a long ways..anyway, ya'll come!!

I've got floor space for your sleeping bag....a nice enough place to knock back a brew or two and not have to drive anywhere. With a place to crash and pizza a phone call away...what else is there?

Oh yeah...I even have flush terlits and hot water!!!

And try out the auto clutch. Anyone interested in trying out some hop ups like the RB Airstryker carb, auto clutch, hand operated rear brake, KX forks, etc. well here's your chance!

BTW I wonder if Ron Black would like to see us in action with his carb mods. Is he nearby for a ride?

See us 'in action'? You mean drinkin' and talkin' smart?

As I recall, he used to ride but doesn't anymore. I think he's smarter than the rest of us!

He's about 250 miles up from here.

Can't say as I'm in yet. I'd love to, but I just started a new (temporary) job and I'm unsure if I'll be able to get it off. Hopefully...

Man CC, your one brain cell is on vacation this morning. I will be driving up on the 20th of May, and riding on the 21st and 22nd; driving home on the 22nd late.

You have, again, fallen and can't reach your appletini!!!

Ooops. I wrote it, edited it, changed it then changed it back because I didn't think I had changed it the first time I wrote it.

See? It's all perfectly clear to me!!

I figgered you forgot you changed it already. Now I'm going to forget when I'm coming up!!!

clutchcover: get together with some of them Idaho boys and pool the ride over. CC has some of the best riding I've ever seen. You will have a blast, that's for sure!

Wibby; ride something, just be there. CC and I can't eat a whole pizza by ourselves.

On the 20th-22nd I will be riding at the Taneum/Manastash area in central WA, this is where I first threw a leg over a dirt bike in 1973 (Satan's own '68 Bultaco Matador). I am hoping to have the fancy schmancy EFM on by then.

Now don't MAKE me go up there and drag you to Jefferson State!

No kidding, the riding is well worth the trip, even if your driving solo to get there. The company.....welllllllll,

Oh! I know! the house is warm and the towels are pretty clean.

Did I mention the pizza is good? First one's on me!

If the house is warm it's time to turn down the t-stat.

Clean towels? What...you're bringing your own this time?

Besides...all I mentioned was terlits and hot water. Nothing about towels or company.

So ..HA!
