That's great news, Kirk.

I'll catch up with you on particulars by cell this week some time.

And like Rick mentioned, take it easy on us!

We have one more kdxrider that may be going - we'll know for sure probably tomorrow.

Sorry Tom. Myself, Andy, Jim, and Andy's brother Jarred are going to Bucks Run or Haspin on Sunday the 13th after work, and staying that night, and riding on Monday. Come on down if you can. If not, maybe later in the year, we can head up that way.......

I might be interested.
Well actually yes im interested just have to make it work out
at my work.
I already have the H&M sticker so I'm good for that.
I went in may for a week and it rained almost every day not to
mention the fact on our first ride one of our riders rode his quad over
the side of a cliff going up #42.
Where you guys staying?
Sound like somewhere on Rt 80?

I rode the LBL system over the past weekend. It cost $15 for a 3 day pass to ride and $6 for a single campsite. You can fit 3/4 vehicles in most of the camp sites. There is also a generator area where you can run the gen 24 hrs a day down by the lake for those with TT/enclosed trailers.
The trail system is nice for the KDX bikes with lots of ridges/valleys to ride. It has alot of sand/rock areas too. Most of the trails are very ridable
but dust becomes a big issue. LBL has been the worse area I have ridden when it comes to dealing with very bad dust issues. This past weekend was Perfect. They had rain several days leading up to our arrival and the dust was almost none existant. This was my 6th trip to LBL. You can ride most of the trails in a single day. If you go to LBL be sure to call before hand because the will close if the trails become very muddy.

We'd love for it to work out but I can understand if it doesn't. So we'll just have to plan on having a round 2 in September - after it cools down - and by then you and the hubby can join us . . .
In September (Labor Day) we are going to definitely go to Brushy Ridge in Astoria, IL. No showers, but hey. The hubby doesn't have any vacation time but we can make a long weekend of it. Hope some of you can be there, too. I really wish we could have done the HF/Mc. I am really bummed out about that one. But hey, we ended up getting the boy a bike of his own...a YZ125.....he loves the track...not so much the trails. Got it for a steal and the ol' man can tell ya.....this thing SCREAMS!!!!!!

Five days 'till Hatfield and McCoy!

No rain in the forecast for next weekend, temps in the upper 80's but that's not too bad for mid July I suppose.

We've got at least one spot open, so if someone decides they wanna join us just holler . . .
