Annual Memorial Day Ride.......

Post by KDX Butterfly »

The guys have done the Annual Memorial Day Ride at Southfork Dirt Riders in Taylorville, Illinois, every year for quite a few years now.

I hope I can join them (and some of the rest of you) for that weekend.
I have been looking forward to riding, especially on that weekend, but I may just have to be the camp counselor.

Popped a tendon loose from the bone in my left foot last Friday. This Monday, we will see what the good ol' doc has to say about it. I am kinda stubborn so, I am sure I won't let a little tendon stop me from the ride.

See y'aaaaall there!!!!

That sucks! What size shoes do you wear? I should've asked when you picked the bike up....I have some brand spankin new gear that I had bought for Kelly including a very sweet pair of Sidi Enduro boots.

If I can manage to come out I'll be cutting out of work just a tad early. That'll put me there about there about dark Friday PM. I'll need to leave Sunday afternoon but that'll give me a day and a half anyway.

I'll know for sure tomorrow.

I'm fairly sure I'll be by myself. Will there be room for me in the trees?!

THANK GOD they have showers there now....Only took them like 3 years to build them. Makes camping a non-issue...Heck I might even blast down Fri night.

Y'all are gonna have to bear with me as I haven't ridden in a couple of years...I just realized that  Been karting, but at least it's on dirt :supz: Lookin forward to getting my rolly polly ass down there!
