In general CC, how long do the fire seasons last. Or does that vary just as much.

Good point...should'a included that.

Generally 'til mid October. Fire season has run into November before, but not often that I recall.

I swear 'they' are calling it earler and earlier...NOT based on the same criteria they USED to. Kind'a used to be..when fire season was on (it's 'on' a lot earlier than the dates I mentioned, but at different levels) in this area, it was ALSO 'on' in nearby adjacent areas. Now, though..it will be 'extreme' here...and only 'moderate' in adjacent counties.

Kind'a makes me wonder.

All things told, Fall could probably be considered the better choice..between it and Spring. Weather is generally less unstable, water level is low (Briggs) and Greyback won't likely have snow 'til maybe late October. It's certainly more dry in the Fall. That means more likely to be dusty than muddy.

Another thing to consider

How many people can fit comfortably in the Hot Tub?

Been great riding weather up until I get laid off for 3 weeks and WHAM! snowstorm all week!

I think I'll go sneek over and sit in the tub and sip some Yukon :supz:

$hit, Inda. Stating the obvious...but that really sucks. If at three weeks vacation time, you've been there for awhile?

I keep wondering how long before I get a pink slip that invites me to not come back the next day. Being here 18 years I full well understand means absolutely nothing. Not in terms of whether I'll be here tomorrow or not. 'Sides, I have a few 'Yer F'n Fired!' emails from The Boss stuck on the wall already.

Yeah. I know. Hard to believe me bein' such a nice guy!

Neat how this snow hit, 'eh Wibby? Time to ride..and nowhere to do it.

Sneak, huh. Time to load up the shotgun!

Hey...Inda said, 'WHEN I come out...'

So, you gonna' hitch out with your BIKE?

Been working at Caterpillar for 5 years.... indefinate layoff (DONE) If business picks back up and I am still unemployed then there is a chance I could go back but I am not counting on it.

I was really planning on coming out and ride this year... things were good enough that I could have sent the bike there and catch up with it later... but I guess that isn't going to work out. If I get something else, which I have been working on then I will only have 2 weeks vacation and will probably have to break the weeks up (That's the way it goes in the IT biz)

It may be a while unless I get a sponsor and I am still unemployed.

I don't think you got to worry about it. It's gotta be cheaper to keep you workin than it would cost to have somebody clean that place up!
