'By' if you own land next to it. 'On' if you don't mind having your bike impounded and probably getting arrested for Resource Endangerment.KDX Butterfly wrote:Is riding a possibility by Table Rock? Or, hell!, ON Table Rock for that matter?

I'm sorry...does one have anything to do with the other? You are such a silly silly person as to think that what The Government does makes sense?KDX Butterfly wrote:Learn something new every day! Resource Endangerment? What's so "endangered" about Table Rock?
On Johns Peak the BLM has closed thousands of acres...for Resource Protection. Why? Because they are concerned about sediment from bike tracks getting into Kane Creek which is deemed a fish bearing stream.
Now...for one, Kane Creek is above at least one dam. That dam is currently being removed..that removal forced by eco-terrorists that claim it prevented fish from moving upstream past the dam.
For two, there is at least one other dam UPstream from this first dam mentioned..and BOTH of them are downstream from the FISH HATCHERY!!
I guess there must be at least a couple of fishies get past these dams if the FISH HATCHERY upstream is in business, 'eh?
Back to the 'for one' part. The liddle biddy problem with the land closure the f-n BLM Nazi's enforce using $250 citations against bikers is that the land they have cordoned off does NOT by large measure even drain into Kane Creek!. Most of it drains into Lane Creek...some into Willow Creek...but not Kane.
SO...that land is 'closed' by The Government for resource management or resource protection has, obviously, NOTHING to do with there BEING any resource involved.
Besides all that, I do believe both Table Rocks are protected botanical areas....'protected' of course using the same brain dead, nazi thinking as the above example.

Lessee...
Choice A: In the woods. Little to no traffic. No noise, hustle, bustle..no PEOPLE to stink the place up. Ride where we want, stop when we want.
Choice B: Don't know about woods. LOTS of traffic. LOTS of noise, hustle, bustle..GOBS of steenking people all over the place. Ride in the same ruts everyone else's been riding in. Don't stop at all.
That's a tough choice!!!
Well...not for ME...but surely for some.
Nope. Not for me!

Whimp! Just kiddin'. I actually rode at this OHV for the first time last fall, and it is very nice. We only saw 2 other people the whole day. I dont know if this event is very popular or not. Cant wait to bang bars though, and pass tons of orange bikes and off course plenty of 450 4 strokes. You guys have fun though. Maybe we can hook up later on this summer. BTW, I'm gettin' RB'd this week! Cant wait, should make racin' lots of fun.
