How do you abbreviate the state of Indiana?

IN.

Trying to work out details or at least find someone to go down there with to half the gas cost.

I messaged him about it, he is unsure if he is able to go at this time. I am going to pursue a buddy of mine who rides quads.

Jim, is your brother going? Or do you know what the quad turnout might look like?

Its too soon for me to say, but my buddy and I have been talkin about goin camping and riding for a few days this summer, so this may perhaps have to be the trip! Is there tent camping sites there? Anyone else campin? Or yinz all too skeeeered of the lil buggies and stayin in cabins? haha

I'm in wait and see mode. Going to do everything I can to make it this year. Kind of in a tough spot at work, so I will have to see what happens.

Its not that were scared to camp, but for a few extra bucks a night you get a clean bed, shower, fridge, cable tv, linens, you name it. Cheapest accommodations in the US!:-)

Carl said right now he's bringing the quad. If we have room, we'll take his KDX too.

My quad riding buddy is in, he put in for vacation. We are actually going to look at a KX250F that a friend is selling this weekend.

Julien, if you are set on camping, I have tent camped in gilbert a few years ago and this past august. Look up Twin hollow campground. Beatiful view, decent bathrooms and its just a quick trail ride into town. It is located RIGHT on the trailhead. In gilbert you can ride your dirt bike / quad through the streets legally.

As Jim pointed out, it works out to be not much more expensive to stay in a cabin / house if there is room or if you have a group. The creature comforts are worth the extra coin TENFOLD.

My crew is staying at Devil Anse in Gilbert. We have the Trail House Lodge booked but the Trail House (cabin) and Apartment may still be available.

Sorry, that's me slackin off on the job. Welcome to the new "Global" sticky. It shall be at the top of each and every forum here until after the event takes place. I'm still hoping to make it. I'll just plan on pitching a tent somewhere. Possibly 1 or 2 with me.

Ok, we were looking around at places down there on the Hatfield McCoy website and I think we have it picked out where we are going to stay. How long are most people going to be going? We were thinking about heading out Wednesday after work, ride Thursday thru Sunday and coming home Sunday. Are we all going to be meeting up down there for group stuff? Be it riding together or hangin out in the afternoons?

Tyler, my buddy and I are still on the hunt for lodging, and if we cant tack on to a larger group, we will tent camp at twin hollow.

What does your head count look like so far? Where were you thinking?

My quad riding buddy just bought a KTM 200. :supz:

Well stuff has gotten screwed up for our plans. My buddy's fiance that was planning our trip, just found out she's got a bun in the oven... so they're out. I gotta get it figured out, but there will for sure be me and my buddy at the very least. Possibly another 2 people.

We know we definitely wanna get a cabin with the shower and kitchen and be near a trail...but no idea where to stay really. Whats the best trail system to stay on you think? I was kind of thinkin Rockhouse... and staying at Twin Hollow. That is what I would like to do as of right now...but I need to look into it more. Soon as I get 5 free minutes when I'm not at work or working on my Jeep lol

Are you guys for sure staying at twin hollow? We could possibly all get a 1-6 person cabin there. Then that way if 2 more of my buddy's want to go, there will be room, or 2 other people from here could join, or we could just have more room. What do you think about getting there on the afternoon of weds june 5th and leaving on sunday the 9th?
