35 miles in the Mark Twain Forest Potosi Missouri

Post by TopperHarley »

got together with a KDX220 buddy and KTM200 buddy and hit the MTF at Potosi today. It was a bit chilli but as long as you kept moving you were ok. Great technical single track trails hiding amongst the double track and fire roads. A generous amount of trees down across trails from recent ice storms. Got a lot of good log hopping practice. Gave the bark busters a workout. had a dissagreement with this one tree and his brother. Busted up the left hand a bit, somehow it got out from behind the bark buster. The hand hurts a bit but you should see the other guy! Definitely bring a GPS or someone who knows the trails. My new top of the line Fox goggles kept icing up on the inside. Was a bit frustrating. Got some practice on split second terrain judging and line choosing I guess.
If you run into Heidi, have her look me up in her little black book and give me a call.
Im feelin a little wild today.

Can you still ride at Mark Twain Forest , Potosi, Missouri or just Chadwick. Its a bit confusing on their site. Is Potosi the same as Suttons Bluff?

Thanks!!
