Jeb you bringing your bike to Knoxville?

If you can you are only about 30 min from Coal Creek also known as Wind Rock. Very good place to ride. And only 15.00 a day.

I am only a rock throw from Knoxville in Maryville.

'Looks like I'll have to wait until Memorial Day to visit Taylorville - little league season opening game is on the 14th.

I love to ride with my youngin' but frankly I'm "jones'en" for a more fast-paced, thrill-seeking, all-day getaway - and I don't think I can wait until Memorial Day!

I'm off on Friday. And it's a "Good" Friday!! You wouldn't be riding at Coal Creek this Friday, would ya Tim? Weather permitting and all . . .

Rick, are you interested?

Or how about Clay City, KY - that's kinda' in between Rick & I and where you're at Tim. All of us would have less than 2 hours drive! Supposed to be a great place - they held the first KORHS (Kentucky Harescramble Championship) event there a few weeks back, pretty cheap!

The guy or family that runs the drag strip runs MPOR (Mountain Parkway Off Road). I talked to him briefly on the phone last year - sounded like a pretty nice guy.

I'll get some more info, but below is the link:

http://www.mpoffroad.com

and, BTW, here's the link to the drag strip:

'Might be a little cold but as long as it's not too sloppy wet . . . we should have a blast!

Tim - I was off a little on drive time for you, I think it's more like 3 hours. Still, not too bad, eh? I was thinking it was closer to London, KY, which IS closer to you. There's a couple of places in that area.

I'm gonna look up Photoguy as well - he's in the Cincy area near you, Rick

BTW, I didn't do it on purpose but I ended up highjacking the thread . . . AND SOME OF THE RIDERS!!

Any other takers? Be great to get a sea of green out there . . .

We're looking at Friday the 6th at Mountain Parkway Off Road in Clay City, KY. It's roughly 1.5 hours from Louisville and Cincinnati, 3 hours from Knoxville and Indianapolis, IN.

I am going camping over the Easter weekend I thought you were talking about the week after. I have a plan to go to wind rock for the Memorial day weekend though radonc73 may be coming down then, still unsure about that but it would be great if any one else could come. It is a great place to ride and there is a campground 2 miles away that you can ride from, there is nothing there but the bathhouses are clean.

I'll need to get out of something already planned if I can - I'll let you know tomorrow, how's that?

I'm not familiar with the area - are you?
