Fuzzy - Bong Rec Area has nothing technical whatsoever and it's mostly in the open with very few trees. The trails are basically 2 track made by quads and I think it's like 7 miles total. I think there is a speed limit but nobody was around when I was there so I'm not sure how much they enforce it.

I can't see how a real 4x4 (truck) could fit on Bong's trails or why they would waste their time. Maybe they are referring to 4x4 quads.

I simply made mention of Bong for IMARCR2's info since I recall him saying he was looking for something very non-challenging since he new to trail riding.

Buffalo Pit wins hands-down between these two!

I have an 80th B-day party for my Grandmother-in-Law. I agree with the recovery day but have to choose my battles carefully.

Rick this place is a little West of Chicago. Quite a hike from the Cincinatti area. You could ride the DR!!

My wife is very hormonal right now. She is do in August and driving me nuts, but I would look like an ass to her family if I skipped it to go riding, I have already concidered doing it anyway but man is the couch cold and the dog would sleep with his ass on my pillow leaving me a doughnut print I don't like.

How about not looking like MORE of an ass!! I am pretty sure the fam. is not happy with me marrying her already, let alone knocken her up. Her mom hates it when I refer to my wife as my babies mama.

I will be there 4/1 with my brother. I hope to see others there. It would be nice to have at least a few KDXers. I have never been there so it will be a learning experience for me. Hopefully we will have a sunny week to dry the place up. Their official opening day is that Friday so it may have more people riding than usual but I am not sure. Either way I want to see if this place can be an alternitive to Attica.

THat will save you a few bucks over the 1500. This will be my first official ride of the year, I cann't wait. I am sure riding the DR gave you a little fix until you take the Beast out.
