My buddy just got one of these asked about jetting for parts he just ebayed and im not sure i did a topend on my little bros but thats pretty straight foward.
So basically he asked me about jetting and said he bought a pro circuit platinum pipe,no toil air filter/no lid on air box.what do you guys think its a stock carb he says and i dont know what size is stock but i guess its all stock on this bike and its a 95-96 bike.
So whats the stock jetting on the bike and where is a good place to start to be in the ball park or even a tad rich?

jetting is something you will have to figure out on your own........there are to many variables for anyone on here to get you right. the airbox lid will make some diff, but not much as far as jetting. i would try those jets you have, and read the plug to see where your at. i had a 96 rm250, but that was years ago, and dont have a clue to what jets i had? compression, temp, alltitude, and humidity plays a role in jetting, that why what works for me wont work for you.

First, go to http://www.yamahaoftroy.com and click on oemparts. Then look at the fische to see if the bike still has the stock carb on it. It's either going to be a round slide (VM) mikuni, flat slide (TM) mikuni, or a Keihin PWK. If the carb matches the picture, the stock jets are going to be listed on the fische.
