heated grips on stock stator?

heated grips on stock stator?

hey guys-- wondering if my 04 kdx has enough juice in the stock stator to power heated grips- i know my ktm will w/o any trouble except with the hi beam on. did i not see/here of someone on this site that has higher output ones for sale??? maybe inda?? also don't knock"em if you have'nt tried them, they can be priceless here in the frozen north where today it hit 33- thanks

would be nice around here at times as well. I have no idea how much juice they pull. The stock setup is barely sufficient for the stock lights though.....

I just mounted a set on my Kodiak, but I will have to see what wattage they are. The stock KDX stator might be sufficient if all other electrical devices are disabled.

Carvr runs them on his, but he has a higher output lighting coil

He has the heaters and the light on a three way switch

Light on - heat off // heat low - light off // heat high - light off
