I have seen KX125 suspension (front and rear) transplanted into a KLX300, but I have not seen a KDX with a different shock....yet.

I don't see as there is really any need to do a shock conversion on the KDX. The stocker works pretty damn good. Get it valved for your riding, and if you really just have to do something with it, get a Gold Valve installed and go ride!

I agree. The KDX shock and linkage and swingarm works pretty good. I looked at it when I was putting forks from a '95 KX125 on my KDX. I had A decent running '95 KX 125 and stole the forks off it. I looked at the shock at that time. I would have had to make some different linkage parts to get it to work but I doubt it would have been an improvement. Might as well do a hybrid if you are going to go that far.

I did put the KDX forks onto the KX125. That was one scary KX125 at speed, I'll tell you!
