headlight switch?

headlight switch?

i need a headlight switch/button/on-off button..........whatever its called......mine works, but is missing the rubber around the button, and its hard to get it to stay on.... does anyone have one that maybe they took off and not using for a good price?

and INDA.......where do i get the 65watt coils? how much?

Do you have a specific need to turn the light off? If you can stand to have the light on all the time, just unplug the switch from the wiring harness and remove it entirely. Then plug the loose ends on the harness back into each other, and wah-lah the light is on all the time.

I got that idea from others here, and ran mine that way for years. Works very well. :supz:

na.........dont want to ride with it on all the time. i just want to turn it on if i get caught in the dark. i just thought mabey someone had a extra one.

They tend to fall apart

I run mine for safety since we ride mostly single track and not much sun makes it's way through the trees

Carvr runs his with a standard 3 way switch. Either the light is on or his grip heaters hi/lo

Mine went bad right after I bought my KDX, I made a thread about it asking if they can be repaired. A member saw it and sold me their old one for $5. But otherwise I was going to go with the always on technique that so many here use, because these switches seem to go bad often and are hard to come by used.
