chain slide & guide kit.
does anybody know if the stock chain slider & rear guide from a 220 is inter-changable with that of say an early 90`s kx125?...reason being i fancy upgrading my stock kit with a nice green one from the` tm designworks` catalogue (ive used these before on my ktm with great results)...sadly they dont make one for the kdx!..but they do for the kx .

I notice on the Ron Ayers fiche, that the #12053 is pretty universal, but there is a lot of "A, B, C, D, etc..", type action going on after the "12053" too.cornishwrecker220 wrote:hmmm interesting as i only have 1 part number for the chain slider & its the same as both the kxf/kx & kdx..12053.( the other numbers are not listed only 12053 which lists as `chain guide).i shall invesigate a little deeper..thanks for pointing that out!

the shop is a registerd kawasaki dealership so i would assume the parts fiche is a genuine kawasaki item ..the illustrations appear to be identical to that on the ron ayres site but without the secondary part numbers..why they do not appear alonside the other numbers i have no idea....i shall contact them for more info & hopefully shed some light on that fact.

The first number is a place marker.... the second is like a revision number. It determines the exact part.
It's like "CARB" "38MM"
