another tire question???
i have a question about chenshin tires{front}...........i know everyone on here dont like them, but the question i have is, do they not handle well, or some other reason? .........my wr 250{yamaha 2t} dont handle to well. it wants to push the front in turns........and i got to looking, and quess what.....it has a chenshin tire .........do you think if i switch the tire, itll help?

It will help but I would also look at the level of the forks in the trees... drop the front a bit.
The Chin **** tires are not made of anything I would call rubber. They are not made of anything that is pliable or that will grip. They are dangerous IMO.

The short answer: Yes, replacing that tire with a quality tire will help.
Inda is also correct, drop the front (raise the tubes up 1/4" or so in the triple clamps) will help a great deal. You can also go about this by addressing the rear end - raise it a bit using the preload adjusters...

thanks........i have a brand new kenda ill try.........and ill also try moving the forks. i have them all the way down{flush} right now.

Try moving the forks in 1/4" increments, and do not raise the forks more than an inch, or you may risk having the tire contact the fender upon hard compression. You should find a good compromise before you get that far, anyway. Once you get close, go to 1/8" increments to dial the handling in to your preferences.
