Yep, I have heard of them and plan on buying a set ($136 shipped) at my next tire change. Some of the guys over on Thumper Talk and Cafe Husky swear by them. The guy everyone seems to be getting them through is Kelly at Motosportz (http://www.motosportz.com/). I have talked with him a couple of times and he seems like a good guy and his rep is very good.

They sell them down at brushy where I ride. I read a lot on them at thumpertalk. Was talking with one of the owners at brushy about them. He said they grip like mad, but when they shed knobs, sometimes they take part of the carcass with the knob, leaving a big hole in the tire.

That's the one they sell...... Don't know if the other tires suffer the same weak carcass thing.

If they are not more expensive than other "premium" tires, I would like to give them a try. Their tread patterns look very aggressive. It is a shame that they are not offered by most (any?) of the common online parts suppliers like Dennis Kirk, Rocky Mountain, MC Superstore, etc..

I have read about folks ripping knobs off of many different types of tires. When I read these reports, I try to see what kind of bike they were mouted on. Usually, it is a high power, large displacement 4 stroke. I have yet to read a report of knobs being ripped off of a tire that was mounted on our KDX's, other than side knobs, from cornering too tight and hard in the rocks.

That's the problem. The side knobs get ripped off, taking a chunk of carcass with it, and leaving a hole in the tire.

I've seen knobs chunk off every type of tire on every type of bike. The KDX is not immune to this.

True. VERY true.

A friend of mine that races the LACC hare scramble series on a CRF250 has managed to rip the knobs off of just about every brand of tire made at one time or another.

Luckily for me (since I'm the one buying everything!) the Maxxis tires that I have on my son's bike have held up well in the same LACC series races.

I can wear out just about anything without any problems but I'm old and slow and don't ride all that hard anymore. I don't want anymore knee surgeries - or any other surgeries for that matter. I do like the Maxxis tires for my riding also though.

No rocks to amount to anything in Louisiana so I have an advantage when it comes to tire choices.

I have a Motoz Terrapactor I/T up front on my 220. I love it. I can see no reason to use anything else. Around here tires don't last long at all. I tear knobs off fronts pretty fast and this thing is holding up better than anything I've tried. I'm running an MT-43 rear so my cornering isn't as aggressive as it used to be and this may have something to do with it.

I got mine from Kelly @ Motorsportz. I originally ordered a Tractionator Enduro I/T but after it was on backorder for longer than I wanted to wait, I called Kelly and described my riding conditions and he assured me the Terrapactor would be great. It is.

My tire now has about 10 rides on it and is finally starting to show some wear. A knob or two has been sliced almost in half from the sharp rocks we have around here but no chunking. Overall it's still holding up really well considering the terrain I ride.
Has anyone else tried these yet?

They have some pretty good prices on MotoZ tires on that site. Let us know how it works out! I would like to try out the X-Circuit. I also like the Tracula, but it is not available in the 100/100-18 size...Which one did you buy?

Finally got around to mounting my Motoz today but I ran into a problem. After mucho effort I got the bead to fully seat on one side & about 90% of the other side. I used plenty of windex for lube & inflated/deflated many times. I went as high as 60psi twice. Can't seem to get that last 10%. Any other Motoz owners have similar trouble?
