Wondering if this could work to power a light.

Lipo batterires are a must have for rc cars and trucks. I wonder if 6500 mah is enough to power a light on a bike.

It probably would, but not for very long. I am currently running two 6v 4ah emergency light batteries, wired in series (Union MX06040). These are fed by my standard KDX stator with a Baja Designs voltage regulator/rectifier. I charge the batteries up regularly, and they give me sufficient lighting for an hour or so (running an LED tail light bulb), or maybe more. It is a fairly recent installation, so I have not found the limits yet.
