Can Someone explain the adjustment of the Dyna Ring

Post by Ipaman »

I just installed my Dyna Ring and it is working great. Now I am interested in trying some different adjustments. If you loosen the cable(turn adjuster in against the lever) what does that do? What about tightening it? Any help would be great.

Thanks

Try it and let us know. I'm the set it and forget it type. I recently put a Dyna Ring in my KDX, adjusted it to where it worked like I thought it should and went about my business...... I liked it. My son rode it and he liked it. Good nuf fer me.

I really am too. I think if you loosen the cable it makes it so the clutch is basically useless and it is automatic all the time. If you make it just right it does both, and if you make it really tight then you can bumpstart the bike. Sound right?

They don't. Everything I have read just says that its great because you can adjust the clutch at the lever. It doesn't tell you what does what.
