Took the bike for a swim!

Post by Slick_Nick »

Note to self: The KDX does not make a good submarine... :smirk:

Ever had one of those big swamp areas, where you thought it was 6" deep, but some ******* before you in a Jeep got stuck and made a nice 3ft deep hole?

Today I did. Should have known better, I know, but riding isn't fun if you don't tempt fate once in awhile, huh?

Anyway, mud up to the seat, I took a trip over the bars. Towed the bike back, and tore it down when I got home. Look what I found! Thank god I don't ride a 4 stroke, or this would be expen$ive!

After getting towed back to the truck:

What looks wrong here?

Mmmmmmm... Chocolate!

Anyway, complete top and bottom, I'll be back out there again in no time!

Keep roostin! :ride:

OUCH! That's what my buddies ktm looked like after he swamped it. He wouldn't let me split the cases. Flushed it, oiled it, and rode it. That was early last year, still going strong. I figured the main bearings would be shot by now, lol.....

Looks like you left it swamped till your buddies had a few beers then decided to help you get it out.
