Where to find O-rings?

Post by KDX220PHIL »

Hi, anyone know where I can find an o-ring for my KDX220? Called the Kawi dealer and they told me I must buy a new chain. If this is the case does anybody have a used chain with a few o-rings i can buy?
Thanks,
Phil.

I got 4 X rings I think they should work? Curious why do you need O-rings? Also how many do you need? I;m going away for a few days soon , maybe i'll see you soon or when I get back I can send them.

KDX220Phil, o-rings are measured by their outer diameter and thickness. You may want to try to measure the ones you have and try to find some at a hardware store or similar.

Canadian Tire has them too. Just take one with you and match it in the bins of o-rings in the bolts section.

I too have a few links left over from trimming my last chain. It's x-ring though. Check a local motorcycle shop and ask for the scrap piece of chain from an install.

Finally have some good news. The Master link can be purchased for $4.00 CDN AND it comes with the 4 O-rings. I wish the dealer had mentioned this to me earlier as it takes a week to arrive. In the meantime I found some o-rings that will work from Canadian Tire.
