Trying to fine tune my carb,what has more of an affect lowering the needle or going one size down on main jet.Right now im at 40 pilot 152 main needle clip in #3 position.

2006 KX 100
2004 TTR 125 LE

it's not so much which one will make more difference, as what range will be affected.

Main jet really only affects 3/4 to full throttle.

I had a 38 pilot and 150 main needle at 3rd clip,and it was running lean,now it smoking at half and full throttle :roll:

did you try inda's jetting guide in jetting section ?
It helped me a lot!
