Bar Risers..

Post by OLHILLBILLY »

KX top clamp for my conversion has the fixed bar mounts. I'm looking for some add on mounts that set the bar farther forward. Was initially (and still will eventually) going to get a different top clamp, but finances force a delay for that.
Need some adapters/risers to move the bar forward .5" to 1". Up isn't a problem, but trying to mimic the KDX reversable mounts turned in the forward position. Ideas of who makes such?
Thanks.. Tom

Yes, I've looked at the Rox pieces. Advertised for dual sport usage though, wonder how well they maintain they're position when getting banged around in the woods. :hmm:

The ones from Emig racing look really good. All their stuff that I have seen is great. They are located in MO, and we all know you like to buy local.

Only problem I see with the Emig stuff is that everything is for removeable, flat, bolt on, bar clamp mounts. Nothing for the molded, one piece OEM top clamps..

I will keep them in mind for a complete top clamp set-up though. They have some sweet looking stuff for sure.
Thanks!

Here is a better pic. The part you want mounts where your handle bar goes, like the ROX Risers. That is the only part you need. You do not nee the top clamp or handle bar mounts only the rotating risers.

OK, I see 'em now. I'll check with my shop and see if they can get them, and what my price is on them.
May just wait a while for $$ to rebuild, and go with the original plan of a different top clamp entirely.
Decisions decisions..
Thanks for all the help!

Those emig racing risers look nice too. I got a triple for them for the same KTM, and was very impressed with the quality.
