ok guys im new to this bike have ad bikes all my life this bike ratles its tits of but i have been reading about the kips ratle and it sounds as if its about rite from wat i have readid first i fote it couild be piston slap or small end bearing
any way my ? is the bike as no top end it dose not screem more like just lugs along is it posible that some 1 as instaled the kips system rong
the botem end is not to bad but wen you get on the valve it seems a bit flat any idias couild it be the piston needs changing it as good compresion and always starts fine any info wauild be great thanks in advance ktm 620

You did not mention whether or not you have a pipe on it, but bone stock KDX's are a bit flat on the top end without one. You can pull the small slotted cover off of the left side of the motor, and rev the bike, to see if the power valve system is moving or not.

check your kips to see if there working. as greg said.......the stock pipe on mine blubbers a little when you first get on the trottle.
