2006 KDX200 is now ready for my son to ride!
Well after a month of dis-assembling, cleaning, lubing, re-assembling, tuning and dressing up; our 2006 KDX 200 is finally ready to go!
The list of everything I have done is far too long to list in this thread, but lets just say that nothing was left to chance, everything has been thoroughly checked out. I had three goals before putting my son on this bike:
1. Must be completely safe!
2. Must run good and be jetted clean.
3. Since I couldn't buy him a new bike this time, I really wanted it to look good.
Though we are still on a quest for more power, the safety, clean jetting and looks came out pretty decent IMHO. So I thought I would share some pictures with the folks that answered my dumb questions and helped me get to this point.

A Big Thanks to all that helped me out!

Thanks Inda, and thanks a bunch for the help you gave me and for putting my fears about the KIPS noise to rest!Indawoods wrote:Pfff..... Looks new to me!

That is beautiful! How many man hours do you have in the restoration?
About 60 hours I guess, but I tend to work slow.
Sapphire, Thanks for posting the pics in this thread. I wasn't sure if their size would make the page load too slow or not, so I just put in the links as not to cause a problem or be a trouble maker.
