Clutch Springs

Post by KDX4ID »

What's the difference between these two springs? The blue one is from my 1997 220 and the white one is from a 1996 200 (parts bike).

They look very different.

'95-'96 models had weaker springs. '97 and up Kawasaki switched to a stiffer spring.

I swapped my 95's clutch springs with some new ones... no difference at all. So much for what's written in a book somewhere....

No difference how so? Maybe in clutch feel, but the springs are stiffer.
