2004 KDX 220 fork oil level

Post by turtle »

I am replacing fork seals on my bike. The manual I have is from a 200 - I dunno, that's what the previous owner had - so I want to make sure I know the correct oil level for my 220. I did a search and did not find a clear answer.

The forks are stock. I weigh 180. I'm not going to replace springs at this time but any fork oil/weight recommendations along with the proper level would be appreciated.

Thanks.

With all stock setup I suggest 10 wt oil. Oil height is subjective but between 95-110 should be about right.

Hi Turtle - Can you please let me know what fork oil weight you went with and what oil level height you kept at ?
