helmet cam video

Post by 89kdx200rdr »

i just got a samsung sc-x105l today and its pretty dang cool. i got the mount that comes with the camera on my goggle strap and shot some video. the first video attempt was sideways but i figured that out. where can i upload some files for you guys to check out? this thing is sweet. is there anything like idrive or xdrive still around? the shortest vid is 35 meg. i will have to play with the thing some more maybe i can get one small enough to post in the gallery. are there any limits on video size inda?

If you can find an FTP site that will host a file that big, let me know, as I am curious to see it.

Thanks.

35MB is a really big file for someone to host. 35MB in size is one problem, sending it out to 20 people and that taking up 700MB of bandwidth in a few days is a whole different story.

I think a few 5meg clips would work... just edit them down to get the best footage. I have a helmet cam myself and on the Labor Day ride I plan to post some footage.... It's going to be a blast!!! Your going right Jason, 89?

ok i found some avi editing software and got the videos smaller by using divx. still playing with the cam as far as placement. i shot a vid in 720 normal quality. i also forgot to remove the clear film covering the lens. i am going to try and put it in the gallery anyway so you all can check it out.
