I know the V Force reeds/cage are supposed to be a direct bolt on. And it is, but I'm wondering about the 2 gaskets. The directions fro MT are... minimal.
The Vforce cage doesn't fit flush against the carb boot like the stocker did. Due to the small gasket on the back of the boot - there is a gap between the boot and the cage. Does the second gasket go in there, or does the flatish gasket on the back of the boot need to be removed.
I'm afraid that if I leave the gap that I may break or bend the new reed cage.
Any previous experience?

It's been so long since I fitted mine that I don't remember.... maybe someone with a more recent install or a better memory will chime in....
