"o" ring vs. standard

Getting ready for a chain and sprocket job. I've pretty much always run "o" rings in my bikes, well, since the eighties with excellent results.

I know they zap a little power, but it was never a concern on my big bikes. Is there a noticeable difference (seat of the pants) on a 200? I'm pretty heavy, and don't want to loose any power.

I plan to shim out the chain guide if I do run one.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think you will notice any difference until you have to push it for any distance.

The only bike I've ever had to push a distance was orange!

As I recall the "o" ring chain didn't slow me near as much as the fact that I was in the sand dunes.
