Someone's advertising a 1987 import from Japan that he says is registered and road legal.

Does anyone have one of these, or know about them? Sounds like a dream to me.

Features of this bike:
-Road legal with all appropriate lights, horn, signals, tires, etc.
-no pre mix. Oil Injection
-smaller 28mm carb and different height porting for better throttle response
-12v electrical operates without a battery
-90/10 - dirt/road tires in great condition
-progressive wound front springs from Race Tech
-Acerbis hand protectors
-FMF pipe in good shape
-engine is tight and has good compression
-just had a tune up
-22,000 lightly ridden km on bike
-being 200cc it falls into the cheap insurance category.

As far as i know thats the same as the road legal version we got in Aust, and is what im after........!
I have heard they werent as exciting as the off road only versions, probably because of the porting differences and carb. that can easily be fixed of course.

Exactly. The smaller carb and porting kind of kills the performance, but that could be remedied easily enough. Awesome bike!
