FMF Gnarly Desert and Woods Pipe Questions
Posted: 09:25 pm May 22 2010
Well, I just picked up a 99 KDX200 and it has some goodies on it.
I joined your forum to see exactly what I had and what I can do to this machine.
It has a FMF Gnarly pipe, but I am uncertain which one I have.
I looked at the FMF website in hopes of getting my answer but they use the same pic for both pipes.
I headed over to the Dennis Kirk website and they show 2 different pics.
From what I am seeing, the Desert pipe has a more flowing, rounded headpipe wrapping around to the chamber. (which looks to be mine)
The Woods pipe looks like it has more of a boxie bend to the head pipe.
Can anyone with a Woods pipe verify this?
For those of you who have actually run both versions, is there really a difference?
What did you notice between the two?
