I honestly would not put fork guards on RSU forks. I think they would look gay, kinda like those fake radiator shrouds on air cooled minibikes.

Of course, anything can be modified to fit anywhere. It may not be worth a darn, but it can be done.

Karl, you are right...I was thinking that it would look cool, until I actually realized the Function of them... then realized it would be gay...

Frank...now that is something I could stand. Honestly...I just think it looks cool...gives a little more room for some color or graphics... and dont get me wrong guys...I am new here... and I am NOT a flashy sort of dude...not in the very least... But something about those blade style guards does it for me....

As far as functionality...I guess these accordian socks work pretty good. The only thing I wonder is how often do you take them off to check and see if seals are good and such?

some just remove the boots and replace with seal saver from tusk or similar.

You will see the oil seeping with the boots on.... there are air holes that you can spy on your seals through....

That seal saver looks a little risky to me... I mean..you get some sand in there and that neoprene holds it tight to the fork and scratches the poop out of it as you ride?? I'd think you'd have to pull them back and clean them all the time...

How often do you pull your boots and clean them out?

All you do is fold them over on themselves and clean... so easy.
