question about suspension settings
I have a 92 kdx 200. I weight 195lbs and I use the bike to trail ride in slow technical stuff mostly. I don't know much about suspension set up but I know all the settings come in the middle positions from the factory. so if I'm "bottoming out occasionally and want to stiffen the suspension, would the easy thing to do is just set all the setting, compression and dampening, equally harder. I know the air in the forks is non adjustable. I'm not interested in modifying any thing. thanks

You have no rebound adjustment on those forks, so you're out of luck there. You can try running the compression clickers in a few clicks at a time and see if it helps. Most likely you will need to replace the springs with some that are appropriate to your weight. Not sure if you consider that "modifying" things.
All else aside, without doing some modifications, those forks will always be crap.
