Laced up black Excel rims for Miss KDX... I think she likes them.

Now, if all this dog-gone snow would melt...

I thought about having the hubs powder coated green, but came to the conclusion that was over the top for a 13 year old bike.

Some would say that any mod on a 13 y/o bike is overkill. I strongly disagree but some would say it.

Is that a Clarke tank you have on it?

Yes, it's a Clarke. I've had great luck with them over the years and they are less $$$ than IMS.

That tank is good for 75+ miles on single track... 65-70 in the dez.

Yes, when it's wet. Super dry conditions... not so good.

I ride a lot of single track in the desert, it works well there. Rocks, nasties, etc...

Where it comes up short is high speed runs over whoops. That tall flexible sidewall tends to bounce. It also hates snow.

For woods/single track it's the bomb!

Thanks. I'm thinking about powder coating the frame and swingarm next winter.

I'm thinking green frame & black swingarm.
