I have one in right now... no difference from a BR8ES.

Never tried an E3
Tried the Iridiums, they work great in the Vstrom, get a good 20,000 or more but the one I tried on the KDX fouled within a few months
I never even check the gap
Just run a BR8ES and forget about it

I would stay away from the EG (gold) plugs. The ones I have had fouled often.
I bought a new KX500 that came with them (2 plugs) and didn't last a week.
I had a plug foul in an '87 KDX 200 last night and when I pulled it out it was an EG. Put in an 8ES and fired right up. Threw the EG away.

I've seen posts on here that the eg is a finer wire plug and will slightly increase bottom end due to better sparking ability. I was thinking about trying one, but now I'm a bit confused about the "gold" part. I don't know if you're talking about the same plug as the other members? Thanks for your feeedback.

Here is a link to the specs from NGK.
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/ngkjpg.htm
The "G" is a finer nickel electrode. NGK claims that they are more resistant to fouling, but my experience is the opposite. They are also twice the price of an "S".
If you google them, you will find others that have problems with them cold fouling.
