What do you think? I am looking at another with black painted plastics. The paint is flaking off most of them...I think they were just taken off and rattle canned... I bet if I pulled them and took them to the car wash/power washer most all the paint would come right off???

quick question... are these 220's or two strokes in general tough to kick over like a 400 4 stroke??

I can't speak for all 400 4 strokes but my KDX 200 is way easier to kick over than my buddies XR400.

A KDX can be kicked over with your hand. Very easy....

The plastics question.... who knows what kind of paint he used.

Nope. Just an easy jab.

Bigger problem will be seat height.
What's your inseam?

Plastics get roughed up on every ride. Count on buying new ones at some point as the shrouds get bent backward and crack around the rad bolt holes. Price them out now, so you get a better idea what you will be facing. DO a search here for bargain side covers (hint, hint).
Front Fenders always have a nice set of scratch marks across the nose, but are cheap. Rear fenders get pretty trashed, too.
What's with that seat cover?

Points to look for:

Is the original Electrofusion bore still in good shape?
Frame straight?
All original or some kinda Franken-bike?
Count on spending some fix up money, so don't blow the budget on the bike purchase.

Wow, that thing looks to have had it rough.

Yes, a pressure washer will probably take off most if not all of the paint from the plastics.

It DOES look rough, I will admit that!

he said the piston was replaced to "increase compression" by the previous owner. He said it did NOT blow up...

Yeah, seat cover is not looking good... but thems is cheap too...

I'll probably keep looking!
