Hi,
What type of oils do you guys use for mixing and for the gearbox. It is time to swith to synthetic, I now have 300Km's on the bike.

I don't use synthetic...so I'm out of the question.

I have had good results with Mobile 1 red cap and Kendall GT-1 20-50
'04 220 w/'01 KX250 USD forks, '02 RM125 Showa shock, Rekluse EXP 3.0, LHRB & all RB'd

I use Golden Spectro synthetic/petroleum blend in my premix and Valvoline 10w-30 or 10w-40 conventional petroleum oil in the box. They're both pretty oily so they work good for me! The Golden Spectro is actually green so it matches my ride. :mrgreen: The Valvoline is golden. :shock:

Mobil 1 MX2T (last time I checked still available at Schucks and Autozone)

Mobil 1 red cap

Last time I changed the earl on my DR, Wallyworld was out of red cap so I tried their new dino oil called Clean 5000 or sumpthin

Fer some reason it shifts so much better now :wink:

Motul 800, and Motul 2-Stroke Gearbox Oil....All Syn, and the best stuff ever made, IMO...

LOL....That was a pre-race photo-shoot we did....Just got the t-shirts....I just re-jetted the carbs so we had to 'test' it. We are going to be on 'Pinks' sometime in July....A new show on Speed where two people race best out of 5 runs for titles...
