...white plastics! Yeah, fat chance! LOL!

I know I''m crazy put I really like the way this KDX looks. I have always loved the old YZ's from the 80's with their white and red scheme. This bike kind of reminds me of them only in white/blue. Anyways, just thought I would share the pic I found of this bike.

That's the "optional white" 90, yeah? I have one in the garage, but the original plastics are long gone. I found white OEM shroud replacements a while back, but at $80 a pop, I went with green!

I really like the look of that bike as well!

Service Honda (much cheaper than Bike Bandit everytime!) has the parts cheaper. Well, if they are actually still available.
35004-1233-6F Kawasaki -- FENDER-FRONT,P.WHITE $49.73
35022-1258-6F Kawasaki -- FENDER-COMP-REAR,P.W $56.31
51001-1301-6F Kawasaki -- TANK-COMP-FUEL,P.WHI $261.78
36010-5293-6F Kawasaki -- COVER-SIDE,LH,P.WHIT $57.88
36010-5294-6F Kawasaki -- COVER-SIDE,RH,P.WHIT $57.88
23005-5004-6F Kawasaki -- BODY-COMP-HEAD LAMP, $81.2
49089-5095-6F Kawasaki -- SHROUD-ENGINE,LH,P.W $62.5
49089-5096-6F Kawasaki -- SHROUD-ENGINE,RH,P.W $55.58
Totals : $682.86
Even though it is pricey, I am very tempted to go with white plastics after I get my engine rebuilt and my suspension mods done. With some blue anodized/powdercoated rims I think it would look great!

Did you check with DC Plastics? They have a lot of plastic for the old bikes.

Yep, no go on the white plastics through them.

That's not entirely true. I always check prices at bikebandit, servicehonda, cheapcycleparts, and a couple others. I usually end up with service honda, but not always....

That is a considerable difference on those plastics though. I wonder if you'd get an discontinued/OOS message if you order them? Usually service honda is pretty good at putting a not available message on the fiche if you can't get the part in question anymore....

You are right juliend, I should have said that my overall order tends to be cheaper as I never just order one or two parts.

I have spoken with SH several times and they told me the fiche and parts system is updated once a month to show current pricing and availability. BTW, for those that don't know how SH's system works, you need to add the parts you want to "parts list", then "send to cart" before you see the actual price. SH's prices were real similiar to BB's until I sent them to the cart for final pricing.
