New guy here,
I'm looking for a KDX (H seires) and every ad on craigslist, bike find, exc, that I'm interested in are priced way over NADA or KBB. Are they worth that much more or are NADA & KBB way off as price guides???. One example: 04 220 all stock he says "LOW MILES" $3200 FIRM, NADA is $1650 & KBB is $2030. another example: 03 200 stock except for FMF pipe. $2500. NADA is $1492 & KBB is $1830. These bikes are local bikes.

Thanks,
Tom

I guess their all over priced then. I've been looking here in KS, OK, MO & IL.
Seen several that would suit me just fine but all are priced over book value, and no one wants to budge on their price. I'll just keep on looking. Hope to get one ASAP.

Like I said, I hit craigslist daily and the bike's I come across I think would work for me seem to be over priced.

'89 and up KDX's normally sell between $1000-$1800 around here depending on condition and year.

Here are a few local to me...

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/mcy/1622660313.html

This doesn't count all the E series bikes that can be had for $700-$1100!

I have seen some people that are just crazy when it comes to what they want for their bike. Example, there is a local guy trying to sell an '85 Honda Magna for $2900! Anyways, just hold out and you will find one in the right price range.

A few I have found

Tulsa:

Springfield, MO

Wichita:

Bentonville, AR

Piedmont, OK:
http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/mcy/1638892455.html

I picked my 02 200 up for 1300.00 in Dallas but I have not found that many really good deals since I bought mine in Dec. The prices seem to have gone up considerably.

Seen them all, sent all of them emails as soon as they were listed. The first one in Bartlesville OK is a 01 not a 05 as listed and at $1850. The 03 here in Wichita for $2000, if he will go $1500 I would go get it today. Just waiting to here back.
So I'm guessing that the answer to my question is that all the bikes I have look at are over priced and I need to keep on looking.
Thanks everyone,
Tom

If you pay over $2k it better be a hybrid or have every bell and whistle pre-installed
